Insightful and Focused Cheetah Tattoo

Swift, focused and insightful, the cheetah is a fearsome predator but can at times be shy and reclusive due to its smaller size.� In African legend the cheetah received their black spots when a mother cheetah thought her cubs were stolen and began to cry. The tears stained her fur.

The cheetah�s timid nature often means that the more affluent use them as pets and hunters. In Egypt the cheetah was revered for its beauty and elegance and believed it was a god.

Although the cheetah was once found in many parts of the world it is now only found in some areas of Africa and remote parts of Iran. Because of inbreeding the cheetah is less able to hunt and often is killed off by other predators.
