Usually used as a military symbol, this is the traditional skull and cross bones, or is sometimes known as the Jolly Roger or pirate symbol. While the symbol is quite old it’s most recent association has to do with the German SS. Over time it was adopted by biker’s who used it as a talisman to ward off death.
