The Hope and Peace of the Dove Tattoo
In Christian folklore the dove is a symbol of the Holy Ghost or baby Jesus. After Noah set sail in his Ark the dove brought back an olive branch that indicated the flood waters were receding. Since then the dove has been seen as a bringer of hope and peace.
