Elf Tattoo

The Fun and Magical Elf Tattoo

Elves have long been a mainstay in myth and legend, with the first mention of elves coming from early Germany, where the inhabitants thought that the elf way a sort of fairy who live in the forests, air and sea.

Although mischievous, the elf has never been associated with evil like some other mythological creatures, but instead was thought to be an imp or trouble-maker in the sense that they liked to have fun. Elves were thought to be associated with the spirit world as the carrier of souls or servants of the gods.

In old England belief in elves was very common, and today the same can be said to be true, although not as widespread. After all, most of us like to believe that a little magic still exists in the world.
