Abundance and Fertility in the Fruit Tattoo
Fruit has been a symbol of abundance and fertility since the beginning of time. Fruit is associated with the harvest and earthly pleasures, and of course the Cornucopia, which in Greek mythology was the horn that suckled Zeus that broke of a goat and became filled with fruit.
Some fruits are regarded higher than others, like the pomegranate and the blueberry. Some countries have adopted certain fruits as their emblem. While they are good to eat, fruit also provides many other useful things, like dyes and fibers.
