Arrive Home Safely with a Homeward Bound Tattoo
This popular maritime tattoo depicts a full-rigged sailing ship with the words “homeward bound”. Most often worn by sailors prominently across their back or chest, this ship meant that a sailor had rounded the dangerous waters of Cape Horn in South Africa and was worn as an amulet to ensure that he arrived home safely.
