The Story of the Kokopelli Tattoo
The Kokopelli is known as the Flute Player of the Hopi Indians and is looked upon as a symbol of fertility for humans and crops alike. He is also a trickster, a healer and loves to tell stories.
Legends tell that he travelled between villages, bringing spring with him as well as the rains for a good harvest. He is also known as the Love God, since it is said that when he visited a village all the women would be pregnant the next day.
