Happiness and Faith of the Leaves/Leaf Tattoo

All plant life especially leaves and flowers have long been represented by tattoo art. The leaves of a Japanese maple and bamboo are widely popular in tattoo art, alongside nearly every other plant leaf known to man.

The lotus and the olive leaf are also quite popular, with the lotus being favoured by Buddhists and signifying purity and beauty while the olive meant victory. The oak tree of course was appreciated for its strength and longevity. A single oak leaf is supposed to indicate happiness, while a group of them means faith and endurance.

Each and every leaf has its own special significance, so there is no doubt that you can find one that has meaning for you.
