The Many Symbols of Lucky Tattoos
Since tattooing first began nearly 5,000 years ago many cultures have inked themselves with talisman’s to ward off evil and bring good luck. Over time many different symbols have evolved to bring the wearer good luck, and what better way to ensure good luck than to have a charm or sign permanently etched on your body.
Some lucky symbols include: four-leaf clover, horseshoes, rabbits feet, nautical star (for finding your way), ankh, Eye of Hourus, scorpions, angels and crosses or dice. A lucky symbol can also be anything that has importance to you personally, like a number, animal or other item.
