Snake Tattoo of Infinity
From as far back as 1600 years BC in Egypt the image of a snake biting its tail has been commonly seen. It can also be found in Norse myth and in Hinduism.
The significance of the serpent consuming his own tail is that he can sustain his own life, as well as the concept of infinity, without a beginning or an end. It also represents the cyclical Nature of the Universe, creation from destruction and life from death.
